This is our large reclaimed barn wood vanity that is constructed as three separate units and connected during install. This Shaker Bathroom Vanity is made from reclaimed pine barn wood and designed for functionality. It is shown with a rustic hand sawn texture and black knob pulls for the cabinets. It features a column of 3 drawers on each end and one in the middle, divided by two cabinets.

This image displays the two hardware choices for our rustic bathroom vanities. The first is the rustic black option with a knob pull handle and a simple black grip handle. The second is the oil rubbed bronze option with a flat round pull handle and a cup pull grip handle.
This illustration shows the different layouts of our bathroom vanities. All can be 18 inches or 21 inches deep. They all can be 31.5 inches or 34.5 inches high. Layout 1 has a false drawer under the sink area with a single door cabinet below and can be 24 or 30 inches wide. Layout 2 can be 30 or 36 inches wide and has a double cabinet below. Layout 3LD can be 36 or 48 inches wide, has a cabinet on the right and 3 drawers on the left. Layout 3RD can be 36 or 48 inches wide and has a cabinet on the left with three drawers on the right. Layout 4 can be 48 or 60 inches wide, accommodates a single sink and has the cabinet in the middle under the sink area with a set of three drawers on each side. Layout 5 is for double sinks and can be 60 inches wide or more. It has cabinets on each side and a set of three drawers in the center.

This Bathroom Vanity is made from reclaimed pine barn wood and designed for functionality in the style originating from the Shaking Quakers.

This quality handcrafted Byrd Vanity is made of pine barn wood with matte conversion varnish or a hand-rubbed wax and your choice of hardware. This vanity is 84″ but we can custom make one for you in almost any size.

Additional Information About the Shaker Style Large Vanity

Often customers are limited on the length of vanities due to installation issues. Long vanities often will not turn corners or travel up/around staircases. Building a vanity in sections and then fastening the units together makes installation easier.

This Reclaimed Pine Barnwood Vanity is constructed as three separate units and connected during installation. All pieces are custom sizes. As shown, the following units were included:
Layout 3 LD (left) 33" wide, standard height of 31.5" and standard depth of 21"
Drawer unit (center) 18" wide, standard height of 31.5" and standard depth of 21"
Layout 3RD (right) 33" wide, standard height of 31.5" and standard depth of 21"

If you need different sizes or prefer a different style, contact us for a quote. This vanity includes three stand-alone cabinets with finished ends only and is built to be joined during installation (similar to the process used for kitchen cabinets.) NOTE: pictures show custom hardware added by the customer.

This vanity does not include a countertop.

Options
You have the choice between rustic black hardware or oil-rubbed bronze hardware with cup pulls or no hardware.
The vanity can be finished with hand-rubbed wax, matte conversion varnish, washes, or stains. If you do not specify a finish the vanity will be finished as in the photo with a matte conversion varnish.

Reclaimed Barn Wood
Reclaimed lumber and barn wood are one of a kind, green material that has been given a second life. We exclusively use reclaimed lumber that has been harvested from century-old (and older!) barns in Ohio. Reclaimed lumber is popular for many reasons: the wood's unique appearance, its contribution to green building, the history of the wood's origins, and the wood's physical characteristics such as strength, stability, and durability. Please be aware that reclaimed barn wood is rustic with small knots, color variations, nail holes, and wormholes; however, that is what gives it beauty and character.

Historical Note
This vanity model is named after Charles W. Byrd, who served as Acting Governor of the Northwest Territory before Ohio statehood. In the early 1800s, Byrd became very involved in the growing Shaker Movement and help fund the establishment of the Pleasant Hill Shaker community in Kentucky.

Lead Time
The listing is "Made to Order" only. Because our pieces are made to order and made by hand one at a time, your order will ship by freight approximately 6-8 weeks after payment is received. This timeline is only approximate and can vary. If you have a specific deadline for the items you are purchasing, please notify us prior to making your purchase.

Shipping:

We offer free shipping in the Eastern Time Zone (except New York City, the Burroughs and other metro areas). If you have questions or need a quote for a different area, please contact us.

Your delivery will more than likely be made by semi. The truck will get as close as possible to the delivery address. This might mean that the shipment is unloaded at the curb or even on a nearby street. The driver will use the lift gate to lower your pallet to the ground and at that point, the pallet becomes your responsibility. The pallet will be heavy and awkward, so it is imperative that you have assistance to move the pallet from the lift gate to your residence.

If you have any additional requests, these additional charges need to be set up with us in advance and paid by the customer before shipment of the order is made.
